Les Grands Ballets are committed to giving back to the community and one of our dearest missions is to take part in the education of youth in need. This is the reason why our institution created the Nutcracker Fund, a recreational and artistic initiative benefiting sick and underprivileged children. With this fund, Les Grands Ballets have allowed 2,800 children to assist to a show of the famous Nutcracker ballet free of charge, each year since 1997. Moreover, our company has been able to invite 1,500 children among them to educational workshops. These workshops include visual arts, animated films (it is a new addition this year!), costume making in their schools, and dance – of course – in the Studios of Les Grands Ballets.
